The
object of our garden design is to maximise the potential for whatever
space
you have to enable you to get as much enjoyment as possible
from it. By getting a garden designed we can incorporate your practical
requirements in a cohesive way and add suitable plants and features to make it unique. As we
undertake the
construction works ourselves the designs we produce are
practical using our
knowledge of how the various elements of a garden actually
physically fit together. This helps to make the construction phase easier and means
your garden will mirror the design.
The
design will provide a plan for the construction works, which can be
undertaken in one operation or in stages if necessary. Any design is
prepared with a budget in mind if required.
Operating in Surrey and the surrounding areas we are commonly
designing
gardens that require a combination of uses including
entertaining and play spaces for children while providing attractive views from indoors.
Our planting schemes are designed to offer year round interest and in most cases
the requirement is for a low level of maintenance.
Any
time of year is a good time to get your garden designed although for us
it is
better done during the winter months so we are in a position
to build the gardens when the weather is more favourable.
We
charge a fee for the design process, as a first stage of the project.
This
depends on the size of the garden and complexity of the
project but is normally
in the range of 250 to 600 pounds.
The
design process starts with an initial meeting to discuss the design
requirements and provide a fee quote. This is followed by a measured
survey of the garden and establishment of the design brief. We will then
produce a design for presentation and once the design is agreed a final drawing will be issued.
This will be suitable for obtaining quotes if required and we can provide a quote
ourselves. |
